ABOUT MAGGIE'S DOGGIE CARE: Hi there! My name is Maggie McSpadden. I'm the owner, operator and pet care service provider of Maggie's Doggie Care. I'm 31 years old and I live in Spotswood, NJ 08884. I work as a professional pet care service provider full time and I'm very experienced in taking care of pets— especially pups! Maggie's Doggie Care is insured and vet recommended. I am certified in Pet First-Aid & CPR. I earned and achieved the Animal Business Certificate from Middlesex County College in Edison, NJ. In addition, I have completed multiple pet care service education programs and courses. I'm here to best assist you and your pet! I love all dogs and never met one that didn't like me. My family calls me the "dog whisperer" for obvious reasons, but mostly because dogs immediately take a liking to me. Since I was a child and a little girl, I have always been an animal lover. I have owned a long list of different types of pets throughout my childhood. I promise to love and care for your dog and pets just like they are my own – if not better! I provide local pet owners with a positive alternative option to using a commercial doggie day care & boarding facility. I love what I do and I have found the saying to be true, "If you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life". My pet care service business and my amazing clients have truly changed my life for the better. I have found my purpose in life and it has brought me so much fulfillment. I can't wait to love your pet too!

Maggie McSpadden DBA Maggie’s Doggie Care is insured and covered with pet care service business insurance through petcareins.com. My pet care service business insurance card is displayed below. I have earned and achieved the Animal Business Certificate from Middlesex County College of Edison, NJ on March 27, 2017. I am certified in Pet First-Aid & CPR by the American Safety & Health Institute. I am experienced in administering oral medication and injections. I have a past background in nursing, healthcare and administration. I earned my Associate of Science Degree in Allied Healthcare - Pre Professional from Middlesex County College, Edison, NJ as well. I have partially completed two accelerated two year ASN/RN nursing programs and attended nursing school. However, life took me on a different path into the pet care service industry. I am a member of a few pet care service associations & organizations. I initially began working as a pet care service provider through DogVacay.com and Rover.com when I first started out. After establishing a loyal client base through these sites, I eventually began to naturally branch out, expand and establish my own private pet care service business. After many years of hard work, dedication and sacrifices, I successfully established a large loyal client base of repeat and returning clients. I have completed many of the certified background checks through Care (care.com), Wag! app (wagwalking.com), A Place For Rover (rover.com) and Dog Vacay, Inc. (dogvacay.com which has now merged with rover.com and is operating as a single entity) in the past. I have successfully completed the online training course Rover101 offered by Rover.com. I also completed the online training courses offered by Dog Vacay, Inc. through their DogVacay University as well in the past. I am a graduate of Course 101, Course 102 and successfully completed the DogVacay online web training program. I have years of experience caring for and providing pet care service for puppies, special needs pets, severe separation anxiety pups (and pet pawrents), pups with general anxiety issues, unaltered adult males, pups with medical conditions, post operative pet care, diabetic & epileptic canine clients and elderly senior dogs with advanced senior issues (like incontinence, immobility, vertigo &/or balance issues, blindness &/or deafness). I have owned pretty much every type of pet growing up. I have always owned multiple dogs per given time and would definitely consider myself an experienced dog owner. I have raised, trained and cared for every single one of my own dogs, from the time they were puppies throughout adulthood. I have rescued and adopted some canine clients from past clients over the years in business. For some random facts, I attended college on academic scholarship with the understanding to play division 3 college softball (division 3 does not give out athletic scholarships, only academic), which I did for 2 years/seasons in college. I am also a notary public in Middlesex County, NJ and I'm also proud to say I'm the daughter of a police officer. My father is a 2008 retired Lt. of the East Brunswick Police Department (25 years) and New Jersey State Police ABC (3 years), after 28 years of total dedicated public service. Some clients find comfort in this information of my family and upbringing, so I like to mention it.
I HAVE EXPERIENCE IN ACCOMDATING & CARING FOR THE FOLLOWING: Puppies (dogs under the age of 1 year), special needs, extreme separation anxiety, general anxiety, fearful, skittish & timid, medical & health issues, post operative care/pets recovering from surgery &/or procedures, advanced senior issues (incontinence, hearing & sight impairments, mobility, vertigo/balance & coordination issues and/or other disabilities), not yet housebroken/house-trained, leash pullers, diabetic, epileptic, coprophagic, finicky eaters, dogs with aggressive behavior tendencies, behavioral issues, reactive dogs, hyperactive/high energy dogs, excessive markers, obsessive mounters & jumpers, untrained and poorly mannered dogs, dogs with no recall training and resource guarding issues. I am experienced in medication administration, both oral and injections. I have experience in general potty training, leash pulling, resource guarding & recall training. Training of basic commands, socailization, good manners & behaviors. I am not a professional or certified dog trainer nor claim to be. I do not offer or charge for any training services. If your pup happens to listen to you better & return to you more well behaved—consider it a plus!
